Shell Australia Offshore Platform Project
The Crux gas field floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility off the coast of Western Australia was jointly developed by Shell Australia and its joint venture partner SGH Energy for the production and transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The company provided approximately 30,000 tons of straight seam double-sided submerged arc welded pipes with diameters of 700mm-3760mm and wall thicknesses of 15mm-100mm, and was specifically responsible for the procurement of raw materials for structural modules and the necessary cutting, rolling, edge preparation, long seam, girth seam and other manufacturing processes, and transported the welded pipes to the port.
