Welded steel pipe production and process

Date:2025-01-02

Straight seam welded pipe production process is simple, high production efficiency, low cost, faster development. The strength of spiral welded pipe is generally higher than that of straight seam welded pipe, and it can produce welded pipe with larger pipe diameter from narrower billet, and it can also produce welded pipe with different pipe diameter from the same width of billet. However, compared with the same length of straight seam pipe, the length of welded seam increases by 30-100%, and the production speed is lower.

Welded pipes with large or thicker diameters are usually made directly from steel billets, while small welded pipes with thin walls are simply welded directly through a steel strip. Then after a simple polishing, drawing can be. Add:Welded pipe is welded with steel strip, so in the original it is not as high as seamless pipe.

Welded Pipe Process Raw Material Uncoiling - Flattening - End Shearing and Welding - Live Sleeve - Forming - Welding - Removal of Internal and External Welding Beads - Pre-Calibration - Induction Heat Treatment - Sizing and Straightening - Eddy Current Inspection - Cutting off - Hydrostatic Inspection - Acid Cleaning - Final Inspection (Strictly Guaranteed) - Packaging - Shipment.
